Realms in Exile
The kingdoms founded in Middle-earth by Elendil the Tall and his sons Isildur and Anarion after the Akallabeth. The northern kingdom was Arnor with its capital at Annúminas and the southern kingdom was Gondor with Osgiliath as its capital. Arnor was later divided into the three kingdoms of Arthedain, Cardolan and Rhudaur.
